Harvest Lager Awarded a Bronze Medal
November 28, 2011 We were notified today that our Fall seasonal, Harvest Lager, was awarded a bronze medal in the Vienna Marzen category at the 2011 world Beer Championships. November 21, 2011 We received this e-mail yesterday from a new Mustang fan: "Wow, what a great tasting smooth beer. I have tasted quite a few domestic, foreign and micro brewery brews and your golden ale is the best I have tasted by far. I picked up a 12 pack at Byron's and will definitely be back for more. If you can get people to try it I am sure they will want more. Keep brewing, something this good will spread by recommendation and sell itself. I'm serving it at our thanksgiving dinner and recommending it to people who I know who like beer. R Clemmens. Yukon, OK." We get these messages occasionally and are completely humbled each and every time. Thank you so much for all the kind words, attending our events and continuing to drink Mustang beers. November 1, 2011 Our newest seasonal offering, Mustang Winter Lager, is officially on the shelves in Oklahoma. This is a great, filtered, amber lager, brewed with four types of barley and two types of hops. This is sure to be one of Santa's favorite beers this winter. Enjoy!

Fundraiser for Chad Peery
May 1, 2011Please join us Sunday, May 1st, from 2-8PM at the 51st Street Speakeasy (1114 Northwest 51st Street. Oklahoma City, OK) for MayDay for Chad, a benefit for Officer Chad Peery. There will be live and silent auctions, as well as a raffle. The cost of entry includes food and beer provided by local eateries and breweries. The event will be hosted by Mark Rodgers of WWLS The Sports Animal, as well as a live remote with Al Eschbach. Washita Wheat Wins a Silver Medal!
July 26, 2010We were notified last week that our wheat beer, Washita Wheat, was awarded a Silver Medal at the World Beer Championships. Over 3,300 wheat beers where judged in the category. We could not be more elated! This is an incredible honor that will bring international recognition to us, as well as Oklahoma.

One Year and Counting!
July 7, 2010It’s hard to believe that we poured our first pint of Mustang Golden Ale almost a year ago. July 13, 2009 was a big day for us. A lot of dreaming, determination, and planning went into those first kegs of Mustang. What started as a dream has now become a thriving business. None of this would be possible without people who believed in, and encouraged, us along the way. Reflecting back, it’s been one heck of a year. In twelve months we launched three beers, held over 100 promotional events, can now be found in 400+ locations, were featured on AOL small business, in OKC Biz, KFOR NBC, The Journal Record, and the OK Gazette, added a Master Brewer (the amazing Gary Shellman) and a full time sales person (the hardest working man in the beer business, Shane Fulton), leased and moved into a new building, purchased brewing equipment, garnered 1,030+ fans on Facebook, and sold 8,000+ cases of beer. We wake up every day incredibly humbled and grateful for what we have accomplished thus far. Again, we sincerely appreciate your support. We’ll keep making the beer if you keep drinking it. It may sound a little lofty, but at Mustang we truly believe in making the world a better place, one beer at time. Thank you!
Washita Wheat Will Be Available All Year
June 9, 2010The launch of our first seasonal beer, Washita Wheat, was such a success that we will now offer it year round. A few of the original 600 cases are still available. Grab them while you can! We are stocked on kegs, so you can still get it on tap at select bars/restaurants. The new batch starts brewing soon and will be packaged in July. We'll post more news as we get closer to the date. Our goal is to keep brewing as long as you keep drinking. Thanks!

Apr 9, 2010Our newest beer, Mustang Washita Wheat, launched in May. Nothing says O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A better than a crisp, refreshing, wheat beer. Brewed with Oklahoma Red Wheat, American and European barley, and Cluster and German Hallertauer hops. 5.3% ABV and 14 IBU’s. Developed by our good friend and award winning home brewer, Gary Shellman. This may very well be the perfect wheat beer. Washita Wheat is available in six packs and on tap at select locations.
